Club Competition Outings
Monthly outings are scheduled for the Saturday of the weekend of the third Sunday of the month, at Forster Boat Ramp in Cape Hawke Harbour. Outings;
begin at 12.00am (midnight) in Cape Hawke Harbour, finishing at Cape Hawke Harbour boat ramp at 2.30pm.
Should sea conditions prevent an outing on the Saturday, the outing will be re-scheduled for an agreed day during the following week, up until and including, the Saturday of the next weekend.
If the re-scheduled outing is again unable to be held the outing will be cancelled.
Each boat must comply with minimum Maritime NSW regulations.
Guidelines
A sign on box will be fixed to a post near the check-in station point at Cape Hawke boat ramp for all outings.
Each boat crew member must sign-on and off, on every day they fish.
Each crew member must pay the Clubs entry fee.
All boats must leave and return via Cape Hawke Harbour.
A minimum of 4 (different) boats over the weekend is necessary to constitute an outing.
Fishing must be conducted, north of Seal Rocks Lighthouse and south of Crowdy Head Lighthouse.
Any fish presented to check in breach of DPI Saltwater bag and size limits may result in disqualification of the entire catch.

May 2025
The Club Forster Bluewater Fishing Club monthly fishing competition held on 17th May saw a small number of boats and fishos hit the great ocean blue, as well as mixed results in the fishing catch.

March 2025
With waterways being left clean, and the winds finally slowed, the Club Forster Bluewater Fishing Club monthly fishing competition went ahead on the weekend of 15th and 16th March with 8 boats and 13 fishos.

February 2025
After a number of weeks of changeable weather, the Club Foster Blue Bluewater Fishing Club February was finally held on Saturday 22nd February, a week later than originally scheduled.

Jan 2025
Due to the very inclement weather this month, the Club Forster Bluewater Fishing Club monthly fishing outing, normally held on a weekend, was conducted on Wednesday 22nd January 2025. Sea conditions were a little lumpy early on, but levelled out to a beautiful warm day as the day grew older.

August 2024
With the clubs normally scheduled Saturday fishing outing rained out, the decision was made to reschedule to the following Thursday. 6 boats and 9 fishermen signed in to wet their lines.

May 2024
Our monthly fishing outing was conducted last Saturday 25/5/2024 with 6 boats and 10 members competing.
